As the founder and CEO of BLS Sports, I’ve been fortunate to combine over 20 years of experience as a professional footballer with my passion for talent development. Born in Paramaribo, Suriname, and raised in the Netherlands, I had the opportunity to play for top clubs such as Feyenoord and FC Den Haag. Throughout my career, I discovered what it truly takes to perform at the highest level – not just physically, but mentally as well.
These insights form the foundation of what we do at BLS Sports. I had the privilege of being personally trained by Wiel Coerver himself and obtained my certification in the Coerver Method. These fundamental techniques, combined with my professional experience, the use of periodization, and the latest insights from neuroscience, have led to the development of Football Brain Coaching®. This unique system helps players not only to become physically stronger but also to perform faster, more technically, and more intuitively.
