Football Brain Coaching® combines neuroscientific insights and football expertise to elevate your game to the next level.

Train Smarter, Play Better.

Football Brain Coaching®

The Football Brain Coaching® (FBC) System is a revolutionary approach that combines neuroscientific principles with football expertise to transform players. By training the brain in the same way we train the body, players develop not only physical strength but also mental sharpness and speed.

The FBC System focuses on reprogramming brain patterns, creating automatic responses, and fostering instinctive play. This leads to faster decision-making, better game insight, and overall improved performance on the field.

Every exercise in the FBC® system is performed with the ball.

Two-Footedness for Control

We develop players with the goal of mastering both feet equally. This bilateral mastery makes you more versatile and unpredictable on the field.

Increased Cognitive Load Capacity

Performing under pressure is crucial. By confronting your brain with complex situations, you train yourself to make quicker and more effective decisions.

Neuroplasticity and Learning

By continuously incorporating new and challenging patterns into your training, we stimulate the growth of new neurons in your brain. This improves your memory and enhances your ability to adapt to new situations.

Advanced Technology

By using advanced devices, we can closely monitor your development and continuously optimize your training to achieve maximum results.

A Complete Player Profile

We help you improve in executing technical movements and teach you to think strategically, anticipate opponents, and communicate effectively with your team.

Individual Approach and Feedback

In every session, you receive personalized feedback tailored to your needs and goals. This approach ensures continuous growth and helps you reach your full potential, regardless of your current level.

The Science Behind the FBC® System

The FBC® System is based on the latest insights in neuroscience, such as the concept of neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections.

Research in the field of neuroplasticity, as discussed by leading neurologists, highlights how essential this trait is for learning new skills and improving performance. The FBC® System combines these scientific insights with kinetic applications, including techniques based on the Coerver method. By reprogramming the brain through unconventional movements and structured exercises, we create and strengthen new neural pathways. This leads to automatic, intuitive responses on the field and an improved ability to quickly assess and act in complex situations.

Our Approach

1.
Reprogramming Basic Skills

Players start by relearning basic movements, actions, and techniques. This reprogramming of the brain embeds the techniques deeply into the psychokinetic memory, allowing them to be performed automatically and instinctively.

2.
FBC Logic and Automatic Responses

In this phase, we combine the newly learned techniques and movements. Players develop new, automatic responses that speed up their game and improve their performance, based on creating and strengthening new neural pathways.

3.
Instinctive Phase

In the final phase, the player’s ability to respond correctly to field impulses without conscious effort is tested and enhanced. This phase focuses on intuitively applying strategic insight and effectively responding to the dynamics of the game.

What gets measured gets managed

Throughout the entire process, we closely measure each player’s progress to ensure they are maximizing their potential and continuously improving their game.

Play Video

For each fundamental action and activity, we can conduct a baseline measurement, allowing us to accurately track the player’s progress over time or after a specific period. This provides both the player and the coach with clear insights into development, leading to targeted and effective training adjustments.

The Importance of Unconventional Movements

Unconventional movements play a crucial role in the FBC System. By challenging players with new and unusual movements, we stimulate their cognitive flexibility and strengthen their ability to respond quickly and instinctively. This process, supported by the principles of neuroplasticity, helps create robust neural networks that form the foundation for automatic responses on the field.

Coerver Method: A Strong Foundation

The Coerver Method, developed by the legendary Dutch coach Wiel Coerver, is renowned worldwide as one of the most effective training methods for improving individual technical skills in soccer. As a former student of Wiel Coerver himself, Dwight Blackson integrates these fundamental techniques with scientific insights into neuroplasticity and motor learning. By combining these approaches, our players become not only technically stronger but also cognitively more flexible and capable of strategic thinking.

Soccer is 20% played with your head, 20% with your legs, and 60% with your heart. So always play with your heart.

Wiel Coerver

Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections.
